(CLIFFORD, ON) – On Thursday September 27, 2012 at approximately 11:51pm County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting R.I.D.E. checks on Elora Street North at Allan Street East, in Clifford. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2002 Subaru Forester that came upon the checkpoint. Police spoke to the driver and discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Matthew Bunch aged 43 of Guelph/Eramosa Twp has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 9, 2012 to answer to the charge.
