(SOUTH HURON, ON) A driver from the Municipality of Bluewater will be without a driver’s licence for seven days following a traffic stop on August 23, 2013. At approximately 7:45 a.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a red Chevrolet Impala speeding along Dashwood Road at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was locked at 155 km/h, 65 km/h above the posted 90 km/h limit.
21 year old Mathew BECKER from Bluewater has been charged with “Race a Motor Vehicleâ€Â. He now has a court appearance scheduled for Provincial Offences Act Court – Goderich on October 22, 2013. His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
