On Sunday January 22, 2017, just shortly after 5:30am, Police responded to the Hasty Market located at 2372 Barton Street East to investigate reports of a robbery. It was indicated that two masked men had just robbed the store. Police arrived on scene to investigate and learned that two men entered the store with their faces covered making demands for cash. The suspects stole a small amount of cash and then fled the store on foot. The employee was not physically injured during the robbery.
