(CHESLEY, ON) – On January 26th, 2011 at 10:20 am, a South Bruce OPP officer was on patrol along 1st Avenue South in Chesley when he saw a couple walking along the sidewalk. The officer noticed that the male saw the police cruiser and started to run the opposite direction.
After a short foot chase, the male was arrested in the hallway of an apartment building along 1st Avenue South in Chesley. 40 year old Mark THOMPSON of Owen Sound has been charged with Possessing a weapon and Breach of probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing scheduled for January 27th, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
