(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – On Saturday, January 12, 2013 at approximately 3:53 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks at Concession 1 just west of Side Road 10 in Puslinch Twp.
At that time and location police investigated the driver of a 2001 Dodge that entered into the check point. During the investigation police located a small quantity of marihuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was under suspension.
Mark Saban aged 33 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Drugs and Substances Act and Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on February 15, 2013 to answer to the charges.
