On April 18th Barrie Police Service responded to a call on Kempenfelt Bay for a small inflatable craft being blown into the centre of the Bay.
Police along with the Barrie Fire Department responded and found 3 teenagers in a dingy, near Minet’s Point. The 3 friends had set out from Centennial Beach but were blown out further than anticipated and were unable to return under their own power. A fellow mariner was able to assist in bringing the teenagers along with their inflatable dingy back to safety.
