(MAPLETON TWP, ON) – On Sunday August 4th, 2013 at approximately 9:50pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about the behaviour of the occupants in a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. Officers located the vehicle travelling southbound on Wellington County Road 109 near Tiviotdale. During the investigation, suspected marihuana was turned over to police by a passenger.
Benjamin NIEUWOLD age 18 of Guelph is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 13, 2013 to answer to the charge.
