(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Wednesday October 05, 2011 shortly after 7 p.m. an OPP officer on patrol stopped a north bound car for speeding on Perth Road 140 north east of Listowel. While the officer was talking to the female driver the odour of marihuana was detected inside the vehicle. The officer located marihuana inside the vehicle and as a result the male passenger was charged.
Matthew Brown (30) of Brantford was charged for being in possession of schedule II cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams. He is set to appear in Listowel court on November 09, 2011 to answer to this charge. The 37 year old female driver from Brantford was charged with speeding.
