(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 37-year-old from Kincardine has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance following a traffic stop that took place last night at B Line Road and Josephine Street North.
At approximately 11:45 p.m. the driver of a Toyota car entered a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checkpoint located at the intersection of B Line Road and Josephine Street North. Upon speaking with the female driver police had reason to believe cannabis marihuana was inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle took place which resulted in police locating and seizing a quantity of cannabis.
As a result, 37-year-old Marcie LORENZ from Kincardine has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana. She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for later this spring at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
