Marc Farinha – Drunk Driving

On November 10, 2015 at 12:02 a.m., the Guelph Police received the complaint of a possible impaired driver in the south end. The vehicle and driver were located on Marilyn Drive shortly after and police conducted a traffic stop. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.

Marc Farinha, 26 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on November 27, 2015.

Theft from cars

On November 9, 2015 the Guelph Police received two reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Westwood Road and Pine Ridge Road.

This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible. Theft of tires reported

On November 9, 2015 at 9:12 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a business on Woolwich Street for the report of a theft. The business reports that eight to ten sets of tires had been stolen from their garage.
