On Saturday, April 2nd at approximately 10:30 p.m. Owen Sound Police Service officers attended a residence on the city’s east side in response a dispute between common-law husband and wife. Upon arrival police found the couple to be embroiled in a verbal dispute. The man’s right ear lobe was observed by police to have a bite mark impression on the earlobe, which had become partially detached from the ear, leaving a space large enough to insert a finger into.
The man attended hospital and received treatment for the injury. The 33-year old woman was arrested for domestic related assault causing bodily harm, and detained at Owen Sound Police Service where she awaits a remand hearing.
