On April 10, 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m., a 41 year old male began waving around a steak knife and was talking to himself on the Grand River Transit bus while traveling to Sportsworld Crossing. The male did not confront or threaten other passengers. The bus driver contacted police and had the other passengers vacate the bus when it stopped at the terminal. The male was taken into police custody without further incident. Nobody was injured during the incident. He faces weapons, drug and breach charges relating to the incident. He was held for a bail hearing.
