(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday May 12, 2012, shortly before midnight, Perth County OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check on Wellington St. in Mitchell when a male walked by the cruisers drinking from an open can of beer. The officers stopped the male, confiscated his beer and handed him a $125 ticket for “consuming liquor in other than licensed premises, residence or private placeâ€Â.
