Man Stabbed Multiple Times In Attempted Mugging In Kitchener

On Thursday August 25, 2016 at approximately 5:45 a.m. a serious assault occurred at the Centreville Chicopee Community Centre located at 141 Morgan Ave, Kitchener. A Kitchener man was walking to work when he was confronted by four unknown suspects who attempted to rob him. The victim managed to get away from the suspects after he had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance where he was treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The victim and the suspects were not known to each other and this incident appears to be an unprovoked attacked. The suspects were described a black males in their late teens or early 20’s. Police are recommending everyone in the area be extra vigilant when out walking by themselves.
