Barrie Police were in the dowtown area on Dunlop Street and received information that there was a very intoxicated man who was blocking patrons from entering a bar. Officers arrived and easily determined that the 27 year old man from Oakville was drunk. He was not in a position to look after himself and was arrested for his own protection. He was taken into custody and will be released once he is a sober condition. He will be required to pay a Provincial Offences fine for Intoxicated in Public.
