Man Mortally Wounded In Fergus

(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On Friday May 31, 2019, at approximately 6:45 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a male in medical distress at a retail store on Tower Street South in the Town of Fergus. Initial reports indicated that an unknown male had sustained serious trauma and required medical attention.

OPP as well as Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended and transported the adult male to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

OPP continue to investigate the incident and believe it to be isolated. The name of the individual is being withheld at this time.
