On Saturday, August 20th 2016 at approximately 1:30pm, Barrie Police received multiple 911 calls in regards to an elderly male in a wheelchair heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the 400 Highway.
Police located the male on the 400 Highway in the area of the Dunlop Street exit. Police escorted the male to safety and assisted him with returning to his residence and family.
