On August 10, 2015 at approximately 2:30 p.m., a workplace accident occurred at a construction site in the Huron and Battler area of Kitchener. A 31 year old Kitchener male was removing scaffolding from the site when the scaffolding struck a live overhead hydro line. The male was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The Ministry of Labour is continuing the investigation.
