Man From South Huron Facing Racing Charge – Vehicle Impounded

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 31-year-old from South Huron been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle following a traffic stop that took place on April 22, 2017. At approximately 7:23 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a Dodge Ram pickup travelling on Huron Road near Whys Line at a high rate of speed.

The officer confirmed his observations with a RADAR device and measured the speed of the racing vehicle at a speed in excess of 50km/h over the posted 80 km/h zone. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was subsequently charged.

James DALE, 31 years of age, from South Huron has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle”. He will have attend Provincial Offences Act court in Goderich later this spring to answer to his charge. His licence has been suspended for seven days and his motor vehicle will be impounded for a week.”
