On March 23, 2015 at 11:45 a.m., a woman was walking her American Bulldog on leash along the river near Wellington Street and McRae Boulevard. A small off leash dog approached and a fight ensued. A man then jumped on top of the bigger dog and began punching it. The small dog ran off and the man released the Bulldog, kicked it and then threatened the woman.
Police would like to identify the man who is described as white, early to mid-40’s, medium build and approximately 6 feet tall. His dog was small, overweight and possibly a Chihuahua. He may have left the area in a gold minivan possibly a Chevrolet.
