(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – On Monday September 28, 2015, shortly after 1 p.m. the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the South Huron Fire Department and the Huron EMS were dispatched to a residential address along Line 21 west of Cromarty, where a male was found underneath a Recreational Vehicle (RV).
One of the jacks used to raise the RV while the male was working underneath gave way, pinning him. Emergency personnel removed the male from underneath the RV and proceeded to administer medical aid.
76-year-old Duncan SCOTT of the Municipality of West Perth was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
