On Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at approximately 10:00 a.m. police responded to reports of a man wielding a knife in a residence on Timmins Crescent in Chatham. Police arrived and took the man into custody. No one was injured and police learned that the man brandished the knife after arguing with occupants over money that was owed to him.
A 29 year old Chatham man is charged with Uttering Threats and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
