The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a motor vehicle collision yesterday in Chatham.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Tweedsmuir Avenue West near Lacroix Street as the man’s vehicle became stuck in the baseball diamond area of the park. Through investigation, police learned that the man was prohibited from driving and he was arrested.
A 62-year-old Chatham man has been charged with driving while disqualified and careless driving. He was released pending a future court date.
