The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a domestic related incident.
Last month, the man entered into a peace bond as a result of a previous domestic disturbance with his ex-girlfriend. The conditions of the peace bond stated that he was not to associate, contact or hold any communication with the woman.
Yesterday, the man and woman were both present at the Chatham Courthouse when the man approached her in the lobby and began talking to her. During this interaction, the man clenched his fist and threatened the woman.
Police were notified of the incident and the man was located moments later on Grand Avenue West. The 26-year-old Camden Township man has been charged with failing to comply and uttering threats. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
