The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a disturbance last night in Chatham.
The man and woman met at a neutral location regarding child custody. A verbal confrontation started which prompted the man to throw his cell phone at the woman. The man continued by pushing her several times and uttering a threat.
The 25-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and uttering a threat. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
