The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for failing to comply with his Probation Order.
On April 18, 2013 the man entered into a Probation Order with several conditions. Two of those conditions stated that he was not to have contact with a specific Chatham woman or attend her residence.
This morning, around 4:30 a.m. the woman called police to report that the man was yelling and banging on her door. Officers located the man trying to flee the area in a cab and he was arrested.
The 32-year-old Chatham man has been charged with two counts of breaching his probation order. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
