The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a domestic disturbance in Chatham.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m. last night, a man and woman became involved in a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation. It is alleged that the man threw an item at the woman hitting her in the nose while threatening her life. The woman did not require medical attention.
A 45-year-old Chatham man has been charged assault with a weapon and uttering threats. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
