The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance last night.
Shortly after 7:00 p.m. police responded to a residence in Chatham in regards to an assault complaint. At this time, a woman reported that she had been punched by her common-law husband. As a result of the assault, the woman lost a tooth.
A 56-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
