The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic violence investigation.
Yesterday morning, a 39-year-old Chatham woman reported to police that she had been the victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her boyfriend. It is alleged that since November 2013, the man has assaulted and threatened her.
Through investigation, police located the man and he was arrested. The 34-year-old Chatham man has been charged with one count of uttering threats, one count of assault causing bodily harm and two counts of assault. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
