The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On July 10, 2013, the man called his ex-girlfriend multiple times even though he was on conditions not to communicate with her. The man also attended her residence in Chatham and began yelling at her from outside to answer the phone. Officers were called to the area however the man left prior to their arrival. Attempts were made to locate the man and when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Around 1:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police located the man and he was arrested. The 36-year-old Florence man has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
