The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
As previously reported on February 18, 2014, police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Tweedsmuir Avenue East. At this time, the homeowner reported that an unknown man entered his residence while he was cooking supper. The homeowner confronted the man who fled the area on foot. Through investigation, police identified the man responsible.
On July 23, 2014, Jamieson Brideau, 40 years, of Ninth Line in Raleigh Township was charged with break and enter. He was released with conditions pending a future court date. On August 8, 2014, he failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning, he turned himself in to police headquarters. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and released pending a future court date.
