The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On August 9, 2014 police found the man intoxicated at the Optimist Park in Bothwell. The man was unable to care for himself and was arrested for his own safety. Upon being searched incident to arrest, the man was found to be in possession of psilocybin. The man was charged with drug possession and released when sober pending a future court date.
On October 23, 2014, the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning, the man attended police headquarters and turned himself in. Scott Joris, 35 years, of Hagerty Road in Bothwell was released with conditions pending a future court date.
