The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On October 27, 2014 police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham. Through investigation, the woman reported that she had been assaulted and threatened a few days earlier. The man fled the home prior to police arrival. Attempts were made to locate the man, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for his arrest for the charges of assault and uttering threats.
Yesterday afternoon, the man turned himself in at police headquarters. The 22-year-old Chatham man was released with conditions pending a future court date.
