Man arrested in Sexual Interference investigation, Andres Chicas, 21, faces seven charges, Police believe there may be more victims

On Saturday, April 25, 2015, the Toronto Police Service received a harassment radio call relating to a student at William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute. Further investigation resulted in a Sexual Interference investigation.

It is alleged that:

– between Friday, January 31, 2014 and Sunday, November 30, 2014, a man was volunteering with the athletics department at William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute, 20 Tillplain Road

– the man made active efforts to befriend a 15-year-old girl and gave her special attention

– the man sexually assaulted the girl multiple times

On Friday, May 1, 2015, at 10:03 a.m., Andres Chicas, 21, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1) six counts of Sexual Assault

2) Sexual Interference

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 10 a.m., room 101.

Police believe there may be more victims.
