Man arrested in Robbery of escort worker, Gavin Aitken, 25, faces three charges, Police believe there may be more victims

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a robbery of an escort worker.

It is alleged that:

– on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, a 19-year-old woman advertised her services as an escort

– the social media site was called ‘Back Pages’

– a man posed as a customer and made phone arrangements from his cell phone to meet the woman at her home

– when the man entered the woman’s home, he had a knife and threatened her

– he made a demand for money and fled the home after obtaining the money

On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, Toronto Police Hold Up arrested a man in relation to an escort robbery.

Gavin Aitken, 25, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Robbery

2) Weapons Dangerous

3) Forcible Confinement

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2700 Eglinton Avenue West on Monday, May 11, 2015, 1:30 p.m., room 202.

The numbers that Gavin Aitken allegedly used were 647-402-3131 and 289-635-6108

Police believe there may be other victims.
