After locating the stolen 3 wheeled scooter on October 30, 2015, Investigators from the General Investigations, Detective Branch were able to identify the male responsible for the theft. In addition to the theft of the scooter, investigators determined that the same male was responsible for a number of other criminal offences within Kitchener and Waterloo. A 28 year old male from Kitchener has been charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and using a Stolen Credit Card. He was held for a showcause hearing.

On October 25th, 2015, police responded to a residence on Wilson Ave, for a report of a stolen 3 wheeled scooter. Police spoke with victim about the incident, who informed officer sometime early Sunday morning his 3 wheeled scooter, which was chained up downstairs in the parking garage was stolen. This is not the first time, back in March of this year the victims original scooter was stolen from the underground parking garage and was replaced at that time with his current scooter. The missing scooter is a blue Goodman electric scooter that is currently partially painted white now, with a white wired basket on the back that has a padlock.
