(Bradford, ON) On Sunday, July 17, 2016, South Simcoe Police were called to a Bradford plaza, after a woman was nearly struck by a car. The victim told officers that she saw her ex-boyfriend in a store, where he made threats to harm her. When she walked out into the parking lot, he drove his car directly at her at a high rate of speed. She was able to jump out of the way, and the man fled. A 23 year old Bradford man has been charged with Dangerous Driving and Threaten Death. He was released on conditions to stay away from the victim, while he awaits an August court date.
