In the early morning hours of December 5, 2016, a man was seen in a downtown laneway as he was in the process of lighting a vehicle on fire. The car’s owner clearly interrupted the male who began to walk away once he realized he was seen.
Police were called immediately and a short while later the male was located and arrested.
That 43 year-old Guelph man is in bail court today charged with arson, mischief under $5,000 and possession of incendiary material.
