Police received reports of male soliciting drivers for money while standing on the northbound Bayfield Street Hwy 400 off-ramp, on Monday, August 22nd, just after 7:30 p.m.
The 48-year-old Barrie male was known to police and charged in the past for similar offences and placed on probation in March of 2016. The male was arrested for two counts of fail to comply with probation and soliciting near a motor vehicle.
He was transported to the Barrie Police station and will appear in bail court Tuesday morning.
