Around 6:00 p.m. last night, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in Chatham.
At this time, a 45-year-old man reported that he had been physically assaulted by his common-law partner throughout the day as they argued. The man did not require medical attention.
A 42-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault x3 and assault with a weapon. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
