(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A 74 year old driver is facing a court date and a seven day driver’s licence suspension after he was stopped for speeding on April 11, 2014. Just before 8:30 a.m. a Buick Enclave was observed speeding westbound on Nile Road west of Mill Line. A Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer used a radar device and measured the vehicle’s speed. A high speed was captured at 150 km/h in a posted an 80 km/h zone.
Malvin KNIGHT, 74, from London was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He will have to attend Provincial Offences Court at a later date to answer to the charge. His driver’s licence has been seized for seven days and his vehicle is impounded for seven days.
