(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section is investigating a complaint of an Indecent Act on a hiking trail iin the West end of Ottawa.
On Monday, August 31, 2015 between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm, a 14 year old female was walking on a hiking trail in the area of Timm Drive and Haanel Drive when she observed a male walking along an adjacent trail. Shortly after, she observed that this male was following her. The male stopped and began to masturbate. When the female ran away the suspect followed her a short distance until a passerby interjected.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30’s, 5’6” (168 cm), brown hair. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with writing on the front, dark coloured shorts and dark sneakers.
