(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 26, 2012 at 6:45pm, County of Wellington OPP responded to the report of a fight at a business on the Sixth Line of Mapleton Township. A male customer became upset when his order of meat was not ready for him to pick up. He pushed and slapped two employees of the business before the OPP were called.
As a result, Abdul Magid ABDUL-WAHED, age 48 of Milton was arrested and charged with two counts of assault, contrary to the Criminal Code. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a Guelph court date of December 10, 2012 to answer to the charges.
