On August 19, 2015 the Guelph Police received the report that a male exposed himself to two young females in Marksam Park near the playground at approximately 4:00 p.m. The male is described as 17-18 years, 5’9” with dark brown hair and wearing a white shirt.

Theft from cars
On August 19, 2015 the Guelph Police received eight reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Vancouver Drive, Youngman Drive, Grange Street, Guelph Street, Kron Drive, Grove Street, Scottsdale Drive and Young Street.
This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible. Break and enter
On August 19, 2015, the Guelph Police received the report of a break and enter to a Ferndale Avenue residence. The culprit(s) entered sometime overnight and a theft occurred.

Impaired driver arrested
On August 19, 2015 at 11:30 p.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a possible impaired driver on Gordon Street. Police located the car and male driver on Rickson Avenue. Police spoke with the male and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and then resisted police when he was arrested.
Mathieu Collins, 26 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving, drive over 80 mg and resist arrest. He will appear in court on September 8, 2015.
Shoplifters arrested
On August 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., the Guelph Police were called to assist security at Walmart who were observing two males that had left the store with stolen property. Police located the two males a short distance away and both were arrested.
Justin Sutherland, 29 years of Guelph has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
Abraham Kingsbury, 19 years of Guelph has been charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation.
Both will appear in court on October 2, 2015.
