MALE ARRESTED AT RIDE CHECK

(WALKERTON, ON) – On August 24, 2014 at 2:50 am, members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. at the intersection of Durham Street East and McNab Street in Walkerton when a vehicle stopped and officers noticed the passenger was holding alcohol. The man exited the vehicle and refused to cooperate with police instructions. A 19 year old West Grey Township man was arrested and charged with intoxicated in public. He was held in custody for the night.
