On December 31, 2015 at approximately 3:30am, a Newspaper delivery person sustained major injury after falling on ice while delivering the paper in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Sorrento Street in the City of Kitchener. Emergency Personnel attended and the person was transported to local area hospital for medical treatment. Ministry of Labour was notified. Waterloo Regional Police Service reminds all home owners to ensure that sidewalks and landings are properly salted and cleared of snow.
