(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) On Tuesday March 19, 2013 between 7 and 8 p.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Sauble Falls Parkway Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The motor vehicle was heading towards Sauble beach and drove off the roadway coming to rest in the ditch.
The male driver had been drinking. He was arrested for impaired driving and subsequent intoxilyzer results indicated his blood alcohol concentration was over two times the legal limit. 63 year old Lorne SHEARS of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula was charged for Over 80, Impaired Operation, and Careless Driving. He will appear in Owen Sound Court on March 28, 2013 to answer to the charge.
