(HURON EAST, ON) – A 32-year-old from Clinton is facing two criminal charges in connection with a break & enter that took place at the Hydro One Station located on London Road in Vanastra.
Just after 4:00 a.m. yesterday morning Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to the Hydro One building after a motion alarm was tripped. Upon arrival police conducted a perimeter check of the building and they located a male suspect inside the perimeter security fencing. The male gave himself up and was taken into custody without incident. Upon searching the male police found him to be in possession of various break-in tools.
As a result, Christopher KURTH, 32 years of age from Clinton has been charged with Break & Enter Commit Indictable Offence and Possession of Break-in Instruments. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 12, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
