A man was taken into custody for a short period pending investigation into this incident. As a result of the investigation, the male was soon released from custody and no charges are pending.
London Police Respond to Barricaded Male
LONDON, ON (December 31, 2017) – On Saturday, December 31, 2017, at approximately 5:00 am London Police Service responded to the Osgoode Drive area of the City of London for a distraught male who had barricaded himself in his home.
At no time was there any danger to any member of the public as police secured the area quickly.
Through negotiations, London Police Service were able to bring this incident to a successful resolution, and at approximately 6:30 am. a 50-year-old male was taken into custody.
London Police Service continue to investigate.
