Loaded Shotgun and Shells seized in Guns & Drugs Warrant In London

On Monday June 6, 2016, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a search warrant at an address on Princess Avenue. The following items were seized:

– One 20 gauge loaded shotgun

– Four 20 gauge shotgun shells

As a result of the investigation, Justin Brown (28) of London is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

– Careless storage of a firearm, contrary to section 86.1;

– Careless storage of ammunition, contrary to Section 86.1;

– Unlawful possession of a firearm, contrary to Section 92.2; and

– Possession of a loaded firearm, contrary to Section 86 (2).
